Kouka was able to regain his form following an impressive year at Turkish Super Lig club Konyaspor.
At the age of 29, Kouka scored a total 11 goals and provided four assists in 37 games across all competitions.
Konyaspor was able to qualify for the second round of the UEFA Europa Conference League’s qualifying round.
He was also recalled by the Egyptian national team, and was part of Rui Vitoria’s squad for the international break’s friendlies.
Kouka may be leaving the Greek giants, despite making only two appearances for Olympiacos in this season’s campaign. His contract is up until 2023.
Saudi news had indicated that Kouka, a former Braga forward, was being linked to Al Ahli Jaddah in July. The club is trying to rebuild following a record league season.
Al Ahli Jaddah were relegated to second division after finishing 15th with only 32 points.
Omar Al-Somah, a star striker for Al Ahli Jeddah, was forced to leave after eight years of service and scoring a total 192 goals in 240 matches.
According to Sport FM, the club is considering the possibility of bringing in Kouka as a replacement for Al-Somah who moved to Al-Arabi SC.
