Bayern Munich about to go bet big on Harry Kane…
Antonio Conte keeps pushing for more players. He sent a message to Daniel Levy with his lineup against Liverpool last weekend.
Dajed Spence is a great example. Although the club decided to sign him this summer, the manager was not 100% sold.
It was a nightmare trying to get him signed to Spurs. It was a difficult transfer to complete. Although it was a great deal for all involved, Brentford waited for Levy’s approval before they could make an offer. Perhaps, looking back, the Bees would have been better for him. However, there are a few Premier League clubs interested in him right now so it’s not like he doesn’t have options.
Emerson Royal is another player Conte does not want, but Spurs know that no one is interested, so they are stuck with him. This is why Matt Doherty has been getting more playing time.
Conte also wants another centre-back. Gretar Steinsson is a technical performance director who excels in his field. This support will be crucial.
This is not all bad news. Dejan Kulusevski, Spurs’ best player at the moment, is clearly evident. He was on the sidelines against Liverpool, and I don’t think he should have been. If you’re healthy enough to be on the bench, then you can start the game.
Some fans might argue that Harry Kane is better than him. – He’s Spurs best player’ – Kane is definitely up there. Bayern Munich is preparing to make big moves to sign him, as we all know he is a top-class player.
Chelsea miss Marina Granovskaia but three new employees incoming…
What amazes me the most about Todd Boehly? His accessibility. Bohely is a different kind of owner. Bohely has stripped away all his hierarchy and said, “right, I’m running it the way I want.” He’s not even subtly doing it. He is not doing it subtly, which is why many agents have avoided him.
Jonathan Goldstein, a director, is a huge Tottenham Hotspur fan. This is why he cannot be at the heart of Chelsea. Goldstein is, I believe, a wonderful guy. But Bohely must know that he cannot have him running the club.
Chelsea was hurt by Marina Granovskaia’s departure. She was amazing – she was a professional.
Granovskaia had a clear plan from the beginning. I’m sure some deals didn’t go as planned but she always made sure that the academy was profitable. She ensured that all extended academy deals, loan and transfer, were financially sound for the club.
Granovskaia is now gone and although there are still some things to do in terms of senior-level staff, Boehly will soon be putting together an executive board of three.
According to what we have been told, Stuart Webber, Christian Vivelli, and Joe Shields, both from Southampton, are the three people currently in discussion.
They all have the experience and the knowledge to bring young players through their experiences at Southampton, Leipzig, and Norwich.
After this shift, Southampton’s Romeo Lavia will be the player they want to bring in in January. He is a star in the making and Belgium’s future captain.
Tough to manage Chelsea winger is Spurs’ missing piece…
I would offer a deal to Hakim Ziyech if I was Daniel Levy. He is their missing piece.
Ziyech was linked to Man United before Antony was signed. This is due to his connection with Erik Ten Hag, who played for Ajax. However, Ziyech, according to what I’ve heard, is a very difficult character to manage.
Although I doubt he would have made a good fit at Old Trafford under Conte’s management, the setup at Spurs is very different.
All is not well between Anthony Martial and Man United…
The public nature of Man United and January signings will mean that every penny is scrutinized and chastised. Old Trafford also needs to be restructured. The owners are aware of this problem and know that they are constantly under scrutiny.
Although there are discussions to sell the club to investment companies in the United States, all parties have been required to sign non-disclosure agreement. The Glazers are valued at just PS4 billion.
However, Ten Hag is not likely to play a system that suits Cristiano Rojo. Anthony Martial is not playing and injuries concerns continue for several weeks or months. There is clearly something not right between the club and the player.
Real Madrid doing all they can to scupper Liverpool’s transfer plans…
Injury and fitness problems are not just a problem at United. Most of the top medical personnel in football have left clubs to open private clinics or set up their own. This means that the gap is being filled by lower-ranking staff. This is how football clubs work now. It’s sad, but it’s the way things are.
There is no doubt that Liverpool wants Jude Bellingham. But, even though he was interested in the move a while back, he now has some doubts. This is because Real Madrid made it known to him.
They claim they see him as a replacement for Toni Kroos and Luka Modric. It is frightening to think that Bellingham will be part of a three-man midfield alongside Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga and Bellingham.
