Romano addressed the recent transfer rumours that linked the Gunners to Danilo in his CaughtOffside column. This was in response to potential January moves to strengthen their midfield.
According to a Sun report, Arsenal may be willing to pay PS26million for Danilo in January. However, Romano appears unsure and suggests that the north London giants would be better off waiting until the summer, when Youri Tielemans is a free agent.
Danilo is a player Arsenal has been following for a while, he was also talked about internally last summer, but there are currently no discussions.” Romano stated.
Romano stated that Tielemans’ departure towards the end his contract was a great opportunity for Arsenal and other clubs.
Danilo seems a good choice, while Tielemans looks like a great fit for MikelArteta’s team. However, Tielemans won’t be available for free until next season which will make it difficult for AFC to remain in the title race.
Danilo looks a good option, while Tielemans also seems like a good fit for Mikel Arteta’s side, but won’t be available on a free transfer until next season, which is not much good for AFC if they want to stay in this year’s title race.
