Romano responded to a few subscribers’ questions in his latest column for CaughtOffside. One of them asked Romano what the Gunners might be looking for in the new transfer window. Romano suggested that it would be similar to the Arsenal’s summer plans, with a winger and/or a midfielder at the top of their wish list. Even though they couldn’t find anyone in those positions by the September 1st deadline,
Arsenal fans can be sure that the north London giants will continue to evaluate options for those positions in January.
Romano, Arsenal’s chief executive, said that they would continue to evaluate options for January.

We will see if AFC regrets waiting until January to make improvements in the midfield and wide.
Arsenal have made a strong start to the season after bringing in the likes of Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko this summer, but it seems that Mikel Arteta could still do with one or two more new signings.
It just remains to be seen if AFC will live to regret waiting until January to try to strengthen in midfield and out wide.
