According to a Daily Mirror report, the Red Devils were recently linked with Schick as a potential replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo. However, Romano believes this speculation may be premature.
The transfer expert insists that nothing is happening at the moment. However, Romano does admire Schick and believes he could be a good signing to top Premier League clubs. He could however, wish that he was more consistent.
Last season, the international from Czech Republic scored 24 goals in 31 matches across all competitions. However, he hasn’t started this campaign as brightly. Romano stated that there is talk of Patrik Scheick being a possible option for Manchester United. He was one of the players Ralf Rangnick scouted, but there are no ongoing contacts.
: “I think he is very talented, but needs more consistency; for sure, he could make a good choice for many big clubs of the Premier League.”
Man United were also mentioned in that Mirror report. However, it remains to be seen if Ronaldo will be leaving. Romano,
Romano, also wrote about the Ronaldo situation today. He said: “Cristiano knew it wasn’t the best way to behave.” We will be seeing him again in the first-team. He’s 100% available.
“But, what about his talks with Ten Hag?” According to me, they were in constant, direct contact and the results were positive. Ronaldo was truly sorry, but Ten Hag also understood that the player wanted more involvement. They talked about it, had many conversations, and decided to shake hands. Ronaldo is now back in the United First-Team.”
