The Red Devils are making progress in their offer to Real Madrid defensive midfielder Casemiro. However, Fabrizio Romano is a leading transfer expert and says that Antony, Ajax winger, is another player they are keen to land.
Antony (22 years old) has been a prominent attacker linked to a move from Old Trafford since Erik ten Hag, former Ajax boss, took over earlier this year.
Ten Hag, a Brazilian wide-attacker, is eager to be reunited.
Despite talks being stalled over the South American, Romano claims that the Red Devils have not given up on the idea.
The Italian transfer guru, Romano, has reported recently that United will attempt to persuade the Eredivisie champions to sell before the end next month.
Manchester United will not give up on Antony. Ajax rejected a new bid, but Man Utd plans to make another attempt – they believe Antony truly wants the move. ???? #MUFC
I was told that Antony doesn’t start on Sunday, but this is still being discussed internally.
