Al Ahly suffered a disappointing season, and Mahmoud El Khatib promised a rebuilding of the club’s squad.
The club has been working to strengthen its squad by signing new players. The Reds’ first two arrivals were Bruno Savio, who came from Bolivar La Paz and Shady Hussein, who came from Ceramica Cleopatra.
The club also announced the signing Mostafa Savio, a talented youngster from Ceramica.
Mostafa Saad, known as Messi, is a 20-year-old winger who is a product of the Cleopatra FC academy and was promoted to the first team just last season.
He has been a regular player for the team since then, scoring once and assisting in three of 29 games.
He signed a five-year contract with the Reds and is expected to make his debut in the upcoming season.
