In 2018, El-Gazzar was purchased from Ismailia Electricity. He immediately made his way into the U23 team and also made two timid appearances with the first team.
In response, he was given a three-year loan by El-Gouna. The move was made permanent in September 2021 at a cost of EUR270,000.
El-Gazar represented El-Gouna on 77 occasions before that, including the 24 matches last season, which saw them lose the Egyptian Premier League.
bank Al Ahly took advantage and signed the ex-Egyptian U23 international, making him the seventh signing of the summer after deals for Ahmed Tawfik and Mohamed Abou–Gabal.
El-Gazzar won a 2018 league title with Al Ahly and was part the winning team at the 2019 AFCON.
El-Gouna players have not been the only ones to leave. He joined 12 others, including Mahmoud Shbrawy and Islam Mohareb as well as Kareem Tarek and Khaled Kamar.
