Referee Benoit Bastien had to suspend play following a large flock of pigeons that had landed on the Stade Velodrome field.
A good 20 birds were seen pecking at grass on the Stade Velodrome pitch before moving on.
Despite the disruption to the game, both teams were able to continue their 1-1 draw and share the points.
